Megan lives with her husband and two young boys in Cornelius, NC. She began painting in 2019. Megan’s love for vibrant color and her appreciation for precision give rise to a unique fluidity in both her floral and abstract paintings. Her playfulness and desire for balance translate throughout her work. For Megan, the most interesting part of the creative process are the times she finds her self in a space of duality. The space she inhabits when she is doubtful of her ability to create beauty and yet confident in knowing that if she perseveres, beauty will eventually arise. Megan believes painting is an extended form of meditation and prayer- time she feels most aligned and in flow with life.
“I fall into a flow… and after spending time in the stillness of painting, clarity and beauty seem to arise.”
Megan’s intention behind her paintings is to share beauty and compassion with others.
